Description
Virginia, Edwardian style full length maxi prairie dress. Handmade as costume in the 1970’s. Beautifully sewn in pale cream, ribboned effect, semi sheer fabric, with lined body and skirt. High neck, with lace ric-rac trim and ruffles aplenty to neckline, bell sleeves and multi tiered full skirt with gentle trail. Hook and eye and press stud back fastening with inner waist belt (creates a slight blouson effect when fastened – not shown in photos as tight to fasten on size 8 mannequin)
Condition: fair vintage condition: has been used as costume and shows signs of wear/damage/fraying etc commensurate with age and use: some small holes – not too noticeable but wearer might opt to carry out small repairs (see photos)
Sizing: recommended for size 6/8 (shown on size 10 mannequin): bust 32’/34″ waist 25″
